The Malaysian Kennel Association in will be organizing the following International shows listed below in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with a full panel of International judges. As we have managed to obtain Quarantine Waiver, we look forward to welcoming as many Overseas participants that would like to exhibit at these shows.

With 4 shows on offer during this weekend, this is an ideal opportunity for you to try to add the Malaysian Champion title to your dog’s names or collect CACIBS or AKU Champion Titles.

We are very proud to announce that the MKA has been granted approval by the London Kennel Club to have a DFS CRUFTS 2013 Qualifying show! We are the only Asian Kennel Club with a qualifying show for DFS CRUFTS 2013 and are very proud to have this honour. Please see below for details of how to qualify for DFS CRUFTS 2013 at this weekend of International shows hosted by the MKA in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

All overseas participants MUST submit all entries ONLINE at www.dogsmalaysia.my on or before 6pm, 29th AUGUST 2012 and Local Entries close 1pm, Saturday 8th September 2012

Judge’s Breed Involvement:

• MKA CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE’S will be awarded at all shows. CACIB’S will be awarded at the FCI INTERNATIONAL DOG SHOWS, to exhibits entered in the Intermediate and Open class ONLY.
• All Dog & Bitch CACIB winners AND Dog and Bitch winners from the Junior Class in breeds recognized by the London Kennel Club at the 17th MKA FCI INTERNATIONAL DOG SHOW 2012 will qualify to enter DFS CRUFTS 2013.
• Eukanuba World Championship Malaysia 2012 is an ordinary All Breeds Championship show and is NOT a qualifying show for the Eukanuba World Challenge 2012 in USA. The winner of BIS at this show will NOT automatically represent Malaysia at EWC 2012.

Doors to venue open 7.30am. Judging commences 9.30am

Directions to IOI Mall Kulai Jaya

Exit North/South Expressway at KulaiJaya / Kota Tinggi Exit.
After paying toll DRIVE FOR 3.3km till you reach a T junction with traffic lights.
(There will be a Tesco on your left hand side. )
TURN RIGHT at the Lights. Drive for about 5km.
After about 5km you will see a Shell Station on your right hand side. Keep to the left lane and exit the road you are on to go left. GO UP THE RAMP to the bridge and TURN LEFT at the top. (Before you turn left you will see a sign board for IOI Mall)
After turning left you should be able to see the Mall up ahead on the right hand side. Drive till the traffic lights and DO A U TURN. After U turn, keep left and turn into the Mall car park. This is the main entrance from which your dogs must enter and exit the mall.

Address for the Mall is - IOI Mall, Jalan Putra Utama, Bandar Putra, 81000 Kulai Jaya, Johor.

We would also like to remind all owners that any person handling dogs at MKA Dog shows and MKA sanctioned dog shows, who is not a member is required to apply for a DAY MEMBERSHIP. Day Membership forms are available at the Registration desk at all shows. Application for Day Membership does not apply to members who have been suspended or expelled from the MKA, who are not allowed to handle at any shows.

Any dogs found to be handled by non members who have not applied for Day Membership will have their awards withdrawn and the owners of the dogs will be liable to face disciplinary action.

Exhibitors at the recent Setia Alam & Midvalley shows would have noticed that there was a box placed at the entrance/exit of the show rings, encouraging members who did not want their show ribbons or rosettes, to put them in the box so that they could be recycled.

Rosettes and Ribbons all cost money and to see them thrown on the floor at the benching or collecting area is very wasteful. What more it is disrespectful to the MKA and the judges to discard these awards in such a manner.

We want to strongly encourage those of you who do not want your Rosettes and Ribbons to place them in the box as you leave the ring, or to put them back on the Ribbon table. We thank those of you who have already been doing so and hope the others will follow suit.
